Children's Cup 2024
On March 10, Dressup.ge proudly supported a children's skiing competition held in Bakuriani, featuring participants in the U10, U12, and U14 age categories.
Kokhta-Gora welcomed 82 participants from 12 ski teams, hailing from Adjara, Gudauri, Tbilisi, and Bakuriani. The winning team and participants were awarded cups, medals, and prizes in recognition of their achievements.
If you've been involved in skiing, you're likely familiar with sports schools such as Ski House, Rati's School, Kokhta Kudi, Ikki Ski, Polesport, Ski Nane, Xtream, Basti, I Ski, and Ski Depot. Since 2017, these sports schools have joined forces under a common vision: to promote a healthy lifestyle and advance mountain-ski sports.
The backbone of the association lies in its organizational team, led by individuals with decades of experience dedicated to the development of this sport. With extensive knowledge of the sport's challenges and international education in the field, these individuals are fueled by boundless enthusiasm and passion for skiing.
Mountain skiing is widely regarded as one of the most costly sports, with the European continent being a pioneer and exemplary region in this field. However, owing to its natural conditions, Georgia has the opportunity to not only keep pace with European counterparts but also emerge on the global stage as an advanced winter resort destination. Our highly educated and skilled athletes have already proven themselves as worthy ambassadors of the country at prestigious skiing competitions worldwide.
The shared goal and development plan of Dressup.ge and the Bakuriani Mountain Clubs Association are as follows:
Tournament of sports schools
• Increasing the number of stages
• Increasing the scale of the tournament
• Increasing the prize pool of the tournament
team
• Purchase of competition and training equipment corresponding to the standard
• Regular participation of the national team in the championship of Georgia
• Participation in FIS international competitions
• Creation/implementation of annual exercise program
Raising the qualifications of coaches
In this direction, we are planning a "Rookie Academy" with the leading international companies in this field.
and unprecedented cooperation with "Subzero Coaching", within the framework of which:
• A long-term strategy for raising the qualifications and career development of coaches will be developed
• Regular trainings and workshops for trainers will be held
• Educational programs will be developed for children of different ages
• International licensing of coaches will take place
As a result of the development of these three directions:
• Healthy life and sports will be promoted among young people
• The culture of skiing sports will rise
• The recognition of the mountain ski resorts of Georgia will increase at the international level
• In the next generation, the motivation to become an individual athlete in mountain skiing will increase
• We will prepare an international level team for the 2024 Youth Olympics in South Korea and the 2025 European Youth Olympic Festival (Bakuriani, Georgia)
• Mountain resorts of Georgia will turn into a regional center for international certification and training of instructors

Dressup.ge proudly serves as the main sponsor of the Children's Cup for the fourth consecutive year, with our objective being to foster the advancement of mountain-ski sports.
