Art In Transit – This puzzle is a journey to 1980s New York. This extraordinary photograph by renowned photographer Martha Cooper not only depicts the city itself, but also offers a unique glimpse into the history of graffiti and the birth of hip-hop.

Through her lens, Cooper's sharp eye pairs a view of the New York skyline with classic 1980s graffiti on subway cars – a memory that has now become an integral part of the city's DNA. In addition to the vibrantly colored graffiti, the puzzle offers an incomparable view of Manhattan as seen from Queens, with the majestic Queensboro Bridge and the red-and-white smokestacks of the Ravenswood Generating Station in the foreground. The bold colors executed by graffiti artist Midg create a sharp contrast with the steel and concrete of Manhattan, as well as the clear blue sky unfolding above.
