Product Description

Tribute to Ferrari – In 1987, the contemporary art foundation "Fondation Cartier" presented Hommage à Ferrari – the first large-scale exhibition dedicated to Enzo Ferrari. Nearly forty years later, the catalog of this exhibition has finally been published, reviving this unique event in the brand's history and the remarkable career of its creator, Enzo Ferrari.

This is a mythical story told to us by automotive industry and design specialists. The publication is illustrated with numerous photographs of iconic car models and previously unknown archival materials. In 1987, the "Fondation Cartier", which was then located in Jouy-en-Josas near Paris, organized this large-scale exhibition to honor one of the greatest constructors and designers of the 20th century. "Hommage à Ferrari" was conceived as a global exposition combining automobiles, design, mechanics, blueprints, and photographs. It took visitors on a journey through the history of the legend, where the iconic models were presented by the famous designer Andrée Putman.

Details:
• This was the automaker's first major exhibition since its founding in 1947 that did not have an official catalog at the time, and this publication fills exactly that historical gap
• The book is an ideal gift for dedicated Ferrari collectors, car enthusiasts, and readers interested in the history of sports cars
• Premium quality printing and unique archival photographs turn this publication into a true collector's item
