ALLIE: Individual Style and Distinctive Silhouettes

How did the idea of creating ALLIE come about, and what was the main desire behind the brand?
Creating my own brand had always been a big dream of mine. I always tried to stay close to this industry, believing that one day the right time and place to start would come. I first created a classic clothing line for one of my brother’s sports brands to test my abilities, vision, and capacity to handle a project like this. It was a valuable experience that helped me understand what I had done right and what I could have done differently, lessons I later applied when launching my own brand.
After thinking about it for so long, I began sharing my ideas and aspirations. As a result, my brother became my first investor and encouraged me to develop a name, concept, and style for the brand.
Initially, I approached collections cautiously, creating simple, understated pieces. I eventually realized that fear of criticism or the possibility that people might not connect with the brand was keeping me from fully expressing myself. I took a risk and came to understand that when a product is presented to people in the right way, it can succeed, as long as you believe in your idea.

What kind of woman is ALLIE created for? Who is the woman who chooses your designs?
ALLIE is created for confident women who, above all, love themselves and feel happy and free. I always say that clothing expresses your inner world, character, and ideas. That is why we should not confine ourselves to rigid boundaries, but instead be as free and expressive in our appearance as we are in our inner world.
I believe ALLIE captures the silhouette of a free and confident woman particularly well. It reminds women of the strength and ambition that come with being different and having a distinct sense of style.
How important is silhouette when creating a garment, and how can it transform a person’s overall appearance?
I believe silhouettes are the most important element of my designs, followed by the details that complement them. For me, fitted waists and broad-shouldered tops and blazers will always feel more feminine and elegant than pieces with straight, unstructured shoulders.
I think introducing different silhouettes into clothing can completely transform a person’s appearance, character, and energy. When I first started out, I realized that my niche would be creating distinctive silhouettes and expressing them effectively. I also wanted to incorporate details that would set us apart and make people say, “Only ALLIE would do that!”

How do you find the balance between trends and individual style?
I don't think I've ever followed trends, either in my personal style or in my collections. I've always loved vintage clothing, particularly the fashion of the 1980s and 1990s, as well as the way people expressed their style in everyday life during those decades.
Trends can be incorporated into certain details to make a garment feel more contemporary, but individuality is essential for both a brand and a person to be memorable and unique.
My inspiration also comes primarily from the past. I find the fashion culture of earlier decades deeper and more interesting, offering genuine inspiration and the opportunity to discover truly striking styles.
What kind of brand do you want to build, and what would you like people to associate with the name ALLIE?
I want ALLIE to have its own character, history, and soul, so that people associate the name with a sense of individuality. I also want it to evoke a woman with style, taste, and character, someone ambitious enough to become successful, happy, free-spirited, and full of life.
I don't want ALLIE to be just about visually beautiful clothing. I want it to have its own story, idea, and emotion, something that will win people's hearts.
