Product Description

The Art of Art - Contemporary Museums – Architects are re-analyzing and interpreting one of the most important and innovative typologies of recent decades: the museum.

Museums are flourishing all over the world: in recent decades, no other architectural form has experienced such prominent growth and diversification. In an era where the digital revolution allows us to preserve our collective memory and artistic heritage without the constraints of physical space, this phenomenon might even seem like an unnecessary luxury.

Details:
• By exploring new architectural symbols and rethinking historical examples, the publication "Architecture for Culture" clearly demonstrates why museums remain fundamentally essential spaces today
• Museums serve as repositories for the encyclopedia of 21st-century knowledge, helping us correctly perceive and read our cities, and ensuring the living presence of art in the spaces where we live
• The book presents the museum as a platform where architecture improves its discourse regarding method, identity, and urban context
• It is a dynamic laboratory for the continuous development of new cultural policies – policies that must be oriented toward a global, planetary audience
• An ideal publication for lovers of architecture, contemporary art, and urban planning
