Clay ready
Nike Claybreaker technology helps give you enhanced traction and less build-up on clay courts. Added grip in the forefoot and midfoot work with a wide traction pattern to help you slide with control. We used traction maps, pressure maps and analysed clay build-up areas for the design. Then we tested it on red-clay courts in Europe in multiple clay-weather conditions (cold, warm, wet and dry).

Cut quickly
A strong plastic midfoot plate is combined with a wide base to offer stability for quick cuts and sudden changes in direction. The synthetic leather around the lateral side helps keep your foot contained when moving from side to side.

Move Freely
Extra rubber in the toe area, specifically the big-toe side, adds durability where it's needed. The high-abrasion rubber along the outsole offers durability and traction.

Zoom, zoom
A heel Air Zoom unit provides support, while a forefoot Air Zoom unit adds a spring to your step.
