Authentic VS Fake Converse
The more popular a brand becomes, the more frequently it is subject to being faked. This issue is also prevalent in Georgia. Fake products are often of low quality, typically made with cheap materials that can be harmful to our health. Additionally, fraudulent items tend to deteriorate quickly and lose their form easily.
1. Check the packaging - The original Converse box features the brand logo. It also includes information such as the shoe size, country of origin, and serial number (which matches the number on the shoe itself).
2. Compare the price - If a new pair of Converse costs less than 100 GEL, it is probably fake.
3. Check the sole. In genuine Converse shoes, the inner sole will have the word "Converse" printed sharply and clearly. The logo will also be present on the outsole, which, in the case of originals, should be firm.
4. Notice the tongue - The brand logo will be printed very clearly on the top of the tongue. It's likely fake if the print is blurry or if the threads around the print are loose. The traditional tongue is made of thin canvas. Pay attention to the stitching around the border of the tongue.
5. Verify the pinstripe. This is painted on the top edge of the sole. It should be smooth and perfect. If it is shaky, not crisp-looking, or uneven, it is a red flag.
6. And last but not least, to ensure that the product you are buying is original, you should purchase it from official partners of the brand!
